Brendan Rodgers: We Thought We Had Alexis Sanchez, But Ended Up With Lambert

Brendan Rodgers appeared on the Goals On Sunday show this week and was inevitably asked a number of questions regarding his time in charge of Liverpool.

Rodgers came under immense scrutiny due to his transfer strategy with many of his big signings failing to justify their huge price-tags.

However, Rodgers laid the blame at the ‘committee’ in place at Liverpool, claiming that the big blow came when they missed out on Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal.
