Images: Bukayo Saka Trains With The Squad Ahead Of Fulham Clash

Bukayo Saka is back…

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is back in full training ahead of the clash against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium as we look to close the gap to leaders Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the Gunners superstar was “ready to go” and that was certainly enhanced by the images released.

Saka has been absent since that December clash at Selhurst Park where he hobbled off with the score at 2-1; the boys went on to make the result certain and run out 5-1 winners.

Our worst fears were confirmed days later, and the 23-year-old underwent surgery to repair a tear in his hamstring – a problem that had been bothering him for a while.

Saka missed our trip to Bournemouth in November after tweaking his right hamstring while on England duty and also missed the national team’s October camp with a similar problem.

Hopefully, the surgery will allow the Hale End graduate to run freely, with the belief that any chance of a recurrence is minimal. The No.7 will be hoping to gather minutes across the next two league games ahead of the mouthwatering clash against Real Madrid.

Check out the images above as Saka sharpens up ahead of our return to action following the international break.
