Chuba Akpom is back at Arsenal training base following a season-long loan spell at Hull City which ended on a high as the Tigers secured their passage back into the Premier League.

Akpom seemed destined for his big chance last season, with Wenger ruling out a loan move given our lack of options in the centre-forward position.

However, Akpom later moved to Steve Bruce’s side in a loan deal which didn’t go as many at Arsenal would’ve hoped.

The Arsenal academy graduate didn’t play much first-team football in the Championship, with most of his impressive displays coming in the FA Cup.
