Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny is the latest player to take the ‘Close Up’ hot seat with the Frenchman discussing how becoming a father has affected his football career.

Koscielny has two children, a son and a daughter, and emphasised the theory that a parent’s world is turned upside down when their seed enters the world.

As a professional footballer with a hectic schedule, Koscielny has also enlightened us on how difficult it is to balance his career and his family life.

With Mikel Arteta retiring and Mertesacker unsure of a place in the first team, Koscielny looks like he may be named as our club captain next season.
