Danny Karbassiyoon discusses all…
Danny Karbassiyoon is a player who’s very well connected with Arsenal and the fans despite contributing to very little on the pitch, which was beyond his control.
Plucked from the United States as a teenager, Karbassiyoon joined in 2004 and was training on a weekly basis with the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, and Patrick Vieira.
However, injury curtailed his career and Karbassiyoon was told to stop playing if he had plans of walking beyond the age of 30.
He has since become a scout for the club in the North America region, with his biggest find to date being Gedion Zelalem.
The former midfielder now has a book out and spoke to Jimmy Conrad about joining Arsenal, the moment he found out he’ll never play again, becoming a scout and much more.
