Declan Rice hit the town with the Power star…

Arsenal star Declan Rice celebrated the win against Brentford by hitting the town with American actor Gianni Paolo, best known for his role as ‘Brayden’ in the hit series ‘Power’.

Rice was named the Man of the Match against Brentford – by the fans and TNT Sports – with the 24-year-old saving his goalkeeper’s blushes with a goal-line clearance.

Aaron Ramsdale almost handed Brentford the lead after he lost possession to Yoan Wissa in the six-yard box which led to an effort from Bryan Mbuemo.

Rice’s instincts saw him immediately spring into action and position himself on the goal line, blocking Mbuemo’s shot and securing our clean sheet.

It’s not his first time producing these heroics, too, with Rice preventing Manchester City from scoring from a corner in the opening stages of our clash against the champions last month.

After the win, Rice celebrated by hosting a dinner with Paolo, who was present at the Gtech Stadium for the encounter as he cheered his friend on.

The Italian-American actor is in the process of filming season four of the successful spin-off ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ after the series the became highest-rated show on the American network Starz’s history.

The franchise, which has three spin-offs following the end of the original series’ finale in 2020, is executive produced by media mogul 50 Cent.

It is interesting that all the posts from their time together on Saturday evening came from Paolo’s social media profile – possibly unaware of the taboo nature around footballers celebrating in public.

Having said that, the unwritten rule states that you’ll get away with it if you’re performing and the team is winning.

Rice would’ve had the day off on Sunday before the focus switches to preparing for the Champions League tie against RC Lens on Wednesday as we look to secure our position as group winners.
