Emmanuel Petit Clowns Man Utd For Attempting £100m Pogba Deal After Releasing Him in 2012

Emmanuel Petit isn’t impressed by Man United’s Pogba move…

Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit ridiculed Manchester United for attempting to bring back Paul Pogba in a deal reportedly worth £100m after letting him leave for free to Juventus in 2012.

Appearing on a digital Yahoo Sports show alongside Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, Pogba’s ‘imminent’ move to Old Trafford was the topic of discussion and Petit found it rather amusing.

“(He left) For Free. And they want him back for £100m! Who’s the Sporting Director at Manchester United?” Petit was clearly unimpressed by Man United’s dealings.

The Frenchman even compared to selling your car for cheap, only for you to realise how much you missed it later on and bought it back for an obscene price.

Balague was quick to point out that money was no obstacle for Manchester United or any Premier League club for that matter.

Check out the exchange in the clip above.
