Arsenal given traditional FA Cup draw…

Arsenal will travel to either Solihull Moors or Blackpool for the FA Cup 3rd round in January as we look to lift the trophy for the 14th time.

The draw, which took place on Monday, served up a rather traditional tie for us to look forward to – especially if Solihull are victorious in their replay.

The West Midlands’ side competes in England’s fifth tier and a trip there would capture the true essence of what the FA Cup is all about.

A poor or plastic pitch, humbling changing rooms and concrete terraces, it a unique experience for a top club to experience.

We last played against non-league opposition in this competition in 2017, after we were paired with back-to-back draws against Sutton United and Lincoln City.

If Blackpool were to win the replay, it would be our second meeting against The Seasiders having already defeated them in the Carabao Cup this season.

Following Manchester United’s defeat in the final last season against Chelsea, we keep our status as being the most successful club in the competition’s history.

Hopefully, we see another memorable cup run from Unai Emery and the boys.
