Ljungberg’s Wenger tribute…

Freddie Ljungberg paid homage to Arsene Wenger as the Arsenal boss celebrates 20 years in charge of the Gunners this week with the Swede pointing out Wenger’s personal characteristics.

Ljungberg was one of Wenger’s early and most successful signings, with the Super Swede scoring on his debut against Manchester United, a fixture he relished during his time with us.

In Ljungberg’s eyes, Wenger has transcended the traditional requirements of a manager over the past decade due to his role in the stadium move and keeping Arsenal in the top competitions.

“He never went out in the media to moan about the budget he had, and that takes a great man,” Arsenal’s former No.8 told SkySportsNewsHQ

The former Arsenal winger acknowledged that we’re now out of the sensitive period and he expects Wenger to deliver a major trophy and is hoping for the Premier League title.
