Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem recently joined Dutch side VVV Venlo on loan and the USA international gave an awkward interview as he headed into training with his new side.
Zelalem is out of contract in 18-months and had been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund this month, but he’s found himself on loan in the Eredivisie.
When asked a series of questions by the reporter as he headed into training, Zelalem gave blunt one-word answers and couldn’t even be bothered to look at the camera.
It’s difficult to gauge whether the reporter asking the questions was a club official, or if it was a random journalist looking for a soundbite from the new signing.
Either way, Zelalem doesn’t even attempt to hide his dissatisfaction with the situation.
