Devlin idolised Sol Campbell as a Spurs fan…

Grime artist Devlin gave a surprising answer when asked about the Spurs players he idolised growing up by naming Arsenal legend Sol Campbell as his hero.

Devlin, a season-ticket holder at Sh*te Hart Lane, revealed that he played as a centre-back during his early years and looked up to the Spurs academy product.

The MC was quick to clarify his current stance by reassuring his fellow fans that he no longer loved Campbell after his iconic trot down Seven Sisters road.

Campbell won 2 league titles and three FA Cups for Arsenal, as well as scoring our only ever goal in a Champions League final.

To Devlin, though, Campbell has been wiped from his memory.

“I loved Sol Campbell until he done a judas on us,” Devlin told Soccer AM.

“I was a centre-back so he was my idol growing up. I USED to love him, I don’t love him no more.”

Devlin had to spell out his stance due to how quickly Spurs fans lose all sense of reasoning whenever Campbell’s name is even mentioned.

He truly defines what separates both clubs and no matter what happens, it’s a barrel we’ll have over their head that can never be eradicated.

Check out Devlin’s take on Campbell in the video above.
