Arsenal’s prominent blogger Gunnerblog gave his post-match thoughts following our dramatic win against Southampton on Saturday and believed that our performance left much to be desired.

Gunnerblog also pointed out the fact that our debutants, Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez, weren’t really helped by our subdued display and entered a nervy atmosphere.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was also in for some grilling: “Wherever he plays he just seems to get it wrong.”

The England winger really needs to buck his ideas up if he has any hope of playing at the top-level and seems to give off an attitude of a player feeling sorry for himself.

His expression when leaving the pitch was slightly bizarre too, almost as if he was being hard done by – again.
