Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang revealed that he knew he had to make an instant impact after being introduced in the second half at Craven Cottage and that’s exactly what he did.

Speaking to BT Sport after our 5-1 win at Fulham, a game in which Aubemayang was summoned on with the boys holding a narrow 2-1 lead, the Gabon international explained his mindset as he entered the fray.

The 29-year-old played a crucial part in that sensational third goal, putting in the all-important cross which saw Aaron Ramsey flick the ball in off the far post.

Moments later, Aubamenyang was really getting into the grove and grabbed a quick-fire brace himself, swivelling to volley one in before latching onto Ramsey’s through ball to grab the fifth.

It puts him right among the leading figures in the Premier League race for goals and the Arsenal star is happy to come through such a difficult test.
