Ian Wright Challenges Arsenal Squad To Match Alexis Sanchez’s Desire If They’re To Challenge

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has challenged the Gunners squad to match the desire shown by Alexis Sanchez on a weekly basis if we’re to end our trophy drought.

Despite the fact that we went to the top of the league with a win over Stoke City, Wrighty still believes the jury is out in terms of a potential title win.

The talent is definitely there in our squad and for the first time since 2004, we certainly have the squad capable of lasting the distance.

We strengthened considerably during the summer and have a squad deep enough that we could afford to allow Jack Wilshere to go on a season-long loan.

Arsenal tend to have games where we can seriously not show up and that cannot be a quality prevalent in a side aiming to win the title.
