Arsenal legend Ian Wright reminisced about his late friend and Gunners icon David Rocky Rocastle ahead of an upcoming documentary about the two.

From Brockley To The Big Time depicts the two south London residents having a kickabout in the park and taking very deviant paths to stardom.

While Rocastle went the traditional route, Wrighty’s infamous story is a remarkable one and remains one of the best ‘rags to riches’ stories in English history.

Four years his senior, Wrighty claims that he admired Rocastle from an early age and had him feature as a goalkeeper as he practised his technique.

As we prepare to remember Rocky following the 26th anniversary of his death, the documentary is set to have a few fans very teary eyed.
