Arsenal stars trained ahead of the team’s Champions League tie against Sevilla as we look to book our place in the last-16 with two games to spare.

Another win against the Europa League holders and a win for Lens in their game against PSV will see us return to the knockout stages of Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since 2017.

Mikel Arteta has to navigate a growing injury list which already includes the likes of Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus, Emile Smith Rowe and Jurrien Timber.

That list has now grown a little following the news that Martin Odegaard and Eddie Nketiah missed training ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League tie.

Nketiah hobbled off the pitch during Saturday’s game at Newcastle United following a collision in the box, while Odegaard didn’t make the matchday squad due to a training ground injury.

Arteta will be welcoming the upcoming international break after our home games against Sevilla and Burnley, with the Spaniard potentially able to get some bodies back.

December is going to be the busiest month in the calendar for us this season, and we’ll need all our resources available to us as we maintain our domestic and European form.
