Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta put the squad through their paces ahead of our trip to Newcastle United as we look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Gunners have picked up one point from their last six and need to begin a new winning run after suffering our first defeat of the season at Bournemouth a fortnight ago.

However, Arteta faces some injury concerns ahead of the trip. Defender Ben White is an injury doubt due to a joint issue and has yet to be confirmed fit for the match. Arteta is monitoring his condition closely as White has been pivotal in Arsenal’s defence this season.

In more positive news, Gabriel is set to be included in the squad despite recently sustaining an impact injury – should he come through the training session unscathed. His presence would bolster Arsenal’s defensive lineup, adding crucial experience to face Newcastle’s dynamic attack.

The cameras were focused on Ethan Nwaneri during the session with the starlet in contention to start his first Premier League game after his virtuoso display in midweek.

Nwaneri took Preston to task in the Carabao Cup, scoring a stunning goal after curling a long-range effort into the top corner. With Martin Odegaard still out, it will be interesting to see if Arteta throws the teenager in as we look to come home with all three points.
