Mikel Arteta continued to put the Arsenal squad through their paces in Dubai ahead of a friendly against AC Milan, the final one before preparations continue back at London Colney.

Arsenal top the table in the inaugural Dubai Super Cup following last week’s dominant win over Lyon and we can solidify that position with a win against the Serie A champions.

Arteta welcomed back Matt Turner, Ben White and Thomas Partey to the fold following the trio’s exit from the World Cup. White left the England camp weeks ago due to ‘personal reasons.’

Oleksandr Zinchenko looks like he’s still not involved in full training with the team after admitting that he felt tightness in his calf muscles.

It will be interesting to see if the boss includes any of the returning players in the starting XI that faces Milan, or if he feels their World Cup excursions have kept them match-fit.

“Yeah it’s been great, it’s been a really good camp so far,” Arteta told Arsenal.com.

“Great facilities, great weather, and looking forward to playing against AC Milan on Tuesday. Then flying back to London and looking to playing in front of our supporters again on Saturday against Juventus.

“So, hopefully see you on Saturday.”
