Jack Wilshere: England vs Wales Could Decide Who Tops The Group

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere is preparing to face teammate Aaron Ramsey at the European championships with Wales and England drawn together in Group B.

Wales meet England in their second group game and Wilshere believes that their fellow home nation are England’s biggest rivals in the group.

Wilshere told Arsenal Player that he and Ramsey have been focused on Arsenal during the campaign, though the two have exchanged a few jibes regarding the upcoming clash.

“It could be an important game,” Wilshere predicts.

“I fancy us (England) and Wales as the strongest two in the group, so that could be the one who tops the group.”

While Ramsey’s position in the Wales XI is secure, it remains to be seen whether Roy Hodgson sees Wilshere as an automatic starter given his lack of match fitness this season.
