Gunnerblog feels it’s time for Arsene Wenger to go…

James McNicholas, Bleacher Report’s Arsenal correspondent, has turned on Arsene Wenger after regurgitating the notion that it’s “time for a change” at the Emirates Stadium.

We were told that Bayern Munich weren’t the force of yesteryear, especially under Pep Guardiola.

Having spent close to £100m last summer on the likes of Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi, the gap was supposed to be closed compared to previous defeats.

What we witnessed was a horror show.

Bayern Munich matched their last win against us, leaving the aggregate score as 10-2 from our previous trips to the Allianz Arena, a deficit which shouldn’t happen.

For James McNicholas, aka Gunnerblog, he feels Arsene Wenger has lost the dressing room.

Not only do they seem to have their focus elsewhere, he claims the players do not believe Wenger can deliver the big trophies and beat the biggest players.

“The players out there do not believe that Arsene Wenger can win them trophies – major trophies,” Gunnerblog stated.

“Arsenal are not credible challengers under Arsene Wenger, and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.”

Whatever happens now, we’re surely entering the stage where the club has some major decisions it needs to make.
