Jamie Vardy: Decision On My Future Will Only Come After The Euros

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has insisted that talk of his future is not distracting and that he’ll only make his decision once the European Championships are over for England.
Arsenal have triggered Vardy’s release clause and while it seemed like the move would happen instantly, Vardy has since requested more time to contemplate his future.
Claudio Ranieri stated last week that his star striker will have the final say on what takes place, and Vardy is definitely intent on making all parties wait.
“While I’m here, that (Euros) is all I’ll be thinking about,” Vardy told the press.
“What I can do for England and what we can do as a team for the nation and that’s how it will be until it’s all finished and we get back home.”
This deal seems rather unprofessional on Arsenal’s part and one can only hope that they’ve been given some type of guarantee behind the scenes from Vardy’s camp and are allowing him time to make his decision public.
DuringĀ a summer so crucial regarding the future of our club, we cannot get this one wrong.
