Arsenal skipper Laurent Koscielny has called on the team to become more streetwise in the Champions League ahead our tie against Bayern Munich.

We go into this tie with the unusual advantage of playing the second leg at home after topping our group ahead of Paris Saint-Germain.

The last time we were in this privileged position, we left the San Siro with our tails between our legs after being humbled 4-0 by AC Milan.

It subsequently killed the importance of the second leg, something we’ve become accustomed to over the past few seasons in the last-16.

Koscielny warned his teammates that keeping the second game alive is all-important, and he even admitted that a goalless draw would still be positive.

If that turns out to be the case, the Frenchman will have to do his job and keep one of Europe’s dangerous marksmen in Robert Lewandowski.

“Yeah we can be,” Koscielny replied when asked if the team would be happy with a 0-0.

“It would be a good result for us and we didn’t kill the second game at home.”

Koscielny knows the scars all too well and is clearly desperate to still in with a shout of qualifying after the 90 minutes at the Allianz Arena.
