Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has hailed Arsenal as a reinvigorated side following Unai Emery’s arrival and named us one of the Premier League’s best teams, he told the Red Devil’s official website.

We head to Old Trafford as favourites which is an odd occasion given that we haven’t won a Premier League game there since 2006. However, given that they’ve drawn their last two Premier League games and are eight points behind us, we may not have a better chance to end that hoodoo.

Fresh off our sensational derby win which has earned us rave reviews, collecting six points from these two games which were deemed a potentially turbulent period in our season would send a clear message.

Rashford, who grabbed his first Premier League goals against us as an under-strength United team beat us 3-2 in 2016, believes that it will not be as easy this time around.

“It’s a game that holds a special place for me, playing against Arsenal at Old Trafford,” the England youngster reminisced.

“But it’s almost a different Arsenal side now, they’re playing better football, they’re a more aggressive team and looking at them now they’re one of the strongest teams in the league. We have to take all that into account and no matter what happens we have to try to get the three points.”

The 21-year-old is expected to lead the line for Jose Mourinho’s side after Romelu Lukaku performed poorly in their 2-2 draw at Southampton on Saturday.

While his pace is something to be wary of, our back three with additional protection in midfield should be enough to control those central areas.

When a team is in the slump in form that Man United are in, it’s imperative that we start quickly and get the opening goal, a feature which has been a rarity for us this season.
