Matt Le Tissier: Very Few Positives In Arsenal’s Display vs Middlesbrough

By The Editor

Matt Le Tissier gives his Arsenal verdict…

Matt Le Tissier was on hand to watch Arsenal’s game against Middlesbrough for Soccer Saturday and the Southampton legend wasn’t impressed by what he saw from our side.

In his ‘Match in a Minute’ report, the pundit believes that Aitor Karanka will have the most positives to take from the game and gave Ben Gibson the man of the match award.

Le Tissier notes that Petr Cech could’ve claimed the award given the number of times he bailed us out during the first-half.

We could possibly put this performance down to tiredness given that we played three games in the space of seven days, but they were all at home against a favourable opponent.

Arsene Wenger fights each year to get us in the Champions League, you can’t then use that competition as an excuse for drawing to relegation fodder at home.

Check out Le Tissier’s analysis in the video above.
