VIDEO: Arsenal Wonderkid Nets Classy Goal In Youth Cup Win

Max Dowman continues to make noise…

Arsenal prodigy Max Dowman netted what turned out to be the winner in the U18s’ 2-1 over Fulham as we progress to the next round of the FA Youth Cup.

Dowman, who received huge praise from Mikel Arteta last week as he trained alongside the first team, continues to defy his age.

The attacking midfielder turned 15 last month and is already breaking records having become the youngest player to score in the UEFA Youth League earlier this season.

Having found the net in the previous round as Arsenal edged past Queens Park Rangers on penalties after a 3-3 draw, Dowman backed that up with another goal against Fulham.

Adam Birchall’s group are now through to the quarter-finals as they look to reach a second FA Youth Cup final in three years for the club and end our drought for the prestigious trophy.

Jack Wilshere led his group to the final in 2023 – armed with talents like Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri – but were bettered by West Ham Utd in the final.

The former Gunners star was in the last squad that lifted the trophy as we beat Liverpool in 2009 – he was partnered in midfield by Francis Coquelin.

Check out Dowman’s classy finish in the video below.
