MLS All-Stars 1-2 Arsenal: Arsene Wenger’s Post-Match Press Conference

By The Editor
on 29th July 2016

Arsene Wenger spoke to reporters following our 2-1 win against an All-Star XI made up of MLS stars and the Frenchman was forthcoming about our needs in the transfer market.

Wenger accepted that we’re in need of reinforcements at both ends of the pitch, following the long-term injuries to Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck.

Given that Welbeck’s injury was public knowledge since May, you’d assume the club are aggressive in their pursuit of a central striker.

Despite Wenger being adamant in reminding the press that we’ve left some first-team stars at home, the entire world knows we’re threadbare in both positions.

Check out his post-match interview in the clip above.
