Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted the equaliser in our 1-1 draw against RC Lens on Friday night as we kicked off our pre-season schedule ahead of the new campaign.

The 22-year-old has been nursing a knee injury picked up in our first-leg defeat against Barcelona in February and the England man is desperate to get minutes on the pitch.

Preparing for his sixth season at Arsenal, it seems as though we’re always regurgitating the same theory about The Ox: it’s a big season for him.

It seems as though the wide positions are up for grabs next year, especially with Arsene Wenger’s reluctance to delve into the transfer market.
