Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain states his Plans…

Arsenal’s man of the moment Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has made it clear that he’s eyeing a starting place in our Premier League team after his brace against Reading.

The 23-year-old has been in and out of the starting XI so far this season despite remaining fit, and he’s gone public regarding his aspirations.

Currently behind in the pecking order to Alex Iwobi, The Ox hopes that his displays in the cup competitions can convince Arsene Wenger to include him in the upcoming league games.

“When I get the opportunities, whether it’s in the cup or the Champions League, I’ve got to help the team first and foremost,” The former Saints man said.

“And, as you said, try and knock on the door for a start in the league.”
