Charlie Patino will remain at Blackpool as he looks to recover from an ankle injury…
Arsenal starlet Charlie Patino has returned to Blackpool to continue his rehabilitation after suffering a nasty-looking ankle injury minutes before half-time in the Tangerine’s 1-0 at Queens Park Rangers, Goal.com’s Charles Watts reports.
Early signs looking quite good with Patino's injury. He was at Arsenal yesterday but has already returned to Blackpool.
He'll be sidelined for a bit, but it doesn't look like being anything properly long-term. That's a positive, given the big impact he's made on loan already.

Patino’s loan spell at the south-coast club has started brightly with the 18-year-old being handed the ‘man of the match’ award in the EFL Cup defeat against Barrow.
The Bloomfield Road faithful have taken to the teenager after initially feeding off of reports from impressionable Arsenal fans on social media.
The Hale End graduate is arguably the next star to emerge from an academy that is certainly going through a purple patch in terms of feeding Mikel Arteta with first-team options.
Patino started his first league game at Loftus Road on Tuesday and after a bright start, he visibly rolled his ankle near the corner flag in the first half.

After receiving brief treatment, the playmaker played on until half-time when he was withdrawn by Michael Appleton.
“It’s not great if I’m being honest. Obviously we’ll know the full extent over the next 72 hours I’d imagine,” Appleton said when asked for an immediate prognosis.
“Charlie, his ankle is quite badly swollen and it was badly swollen at half-time, so it’s something we’ve got to control and get the swelling down. Once we’re in a position where the swelling is under control we can go and get it scanned.”
Principally, when a serious injury happens to a loanee, they return to the parent club and are taken care of by our medical team.
According to Charles Watts, Patino has returned to Blackpool after being assessed by the Gunners’ medical staff which suggests the injury may not be as serious as first feared.
