Ray Parlour Narrates Funny Anecdote From His Initiation Speech

Ray Parlour is arguably the most charismatic players ever to don the Arsenal shirt and our former midfielder revealed on Sunday how his initiation went under George Graham.
While the modern understanding of an ‘initiation’ is when a player belts out his favourite song to his new teammates. However in Parlour’s day, new faces in the first-team dressing room were expected to give a speech.
With a little help from Tony Adams, Parlour’s speech went slightly pear-shaped.
