Rumoured Arsenal target Riyad Mahrez has penned a new four-year deal with champions Leicester City to end speculation regarding his future.

The PFA Player of the Year for last season had been linked with a move away from the Claudio Ranieri’s side which would’ve seen him follow N’Golo Kante out of the Kingpower Stadium.

We were the club linked with Mahrez on a frequent basis, and Arsene Wenger did little to quell rumours when he visited Leicester City’s friendly game in America to “watch all the players”.

According to SkySportsNewsHQ, Mahrez’s latest contract doesn’t include a release clause which puts Leicester City in a very strong position.

That’s now two Leicester City players who have used the club’s name to get themselves a better deal and leaves us in a precarious position with only two weeks of the transfer window left.
