Robbie Earle sums up Arsenal’s defeat at Anfield…

Robbie Earle stated that the difference between Arsenal and Liverpool on Sunday afternoon was the difference between the two figures in the dugout.

Liverpool thrashed us 4-0 in a game which could have long-lasting ramifications for us and Arsene Wenger, a coach who Earle believes is inferior to his German counterpart.

Wenger hasn’t beaten Klopp since the former Dortmund coach took over at Anfield, and Wenger clearly didn’t have a tactical answer on Sunday afternoon.

“I look at the Arsenal squad, player for player, it’s deeper and got more quality than Liverpool’s,” Earle said on NBC.

“Liverpool have got a better manager, better tactics, and more enthusiasm, attitude and drive, and that’s why they won the game today.

“One team’s got more quality, but doesn’t turn up.

“(And) one team is well organised, well coached, well committed and puts in a performance like that.”

Pundits and experts alike are starting to focus their attention on the coaching staff and Wenger in particular with teams possessing players of average quality achieving simple wins against us.

Their approaches to the game are also identical, dropping deep into shape and allowing us to commit a naive number of players forward before punishing us.
