In his latest sit-down with Unscriptd, Santi Cazorla is quizzed on his favourite moment in football so far and offered an interesting response.

Given that the 31-year-old has won some of football’s most prestigious prizes, Cazorla cites his debut for Villarreal against Deportivo La Coruna, which lasted about one minute.

Cazorla came through the ranks at the Yellow Submarines and gained his status as a cult hero before eventually leaving for Malaga in 2012.

“I played one minute, and the most important thing was that didn’t touch the ball,” Cazorla joked.

However, it was the moment the Spanish magician realised his dream as a professional footballer and provided the base for him to achieve greatness.

Now the star man at Arsenal, Cazorla was severely missed during his five-month spell on the sideline with a knee injury last season.
