Juventus are eyeing another high-profile Bosman transfer as they go after Aaron Ramsey…
Juventus are in talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer next summer as the Serie A giants eye yet another high-profile Bosman deal, Sky Sports reports.
The Italian champions have made a name for themselves of signing top players once their contracts expire and it’s very much part of their prudent model.
The likes of Andrea Pirlo, Dani Alves, Patrice Evra, Paul Pogba, Sami Khedira, Blaise Matuidi and Emre Can have all made moves to Turin after running their contracts down.
Ramsey has been linked with all of Europe’s top clubs and while reports claimed Bayern Munich were confident of landing the Welshman, it seems Juventus have now thrown their hat into the ring.
Moving to Juve always seemed a credible option for a number of reasons for Ramsey, who’s previously admitted that he wanted to play abroad.
They possess the No.1 star in world football following Cristiano Ronaldo’s move last summer, which is a big incentive for any player.
Also, their man between the sticks is a former friend and teammate of Ramsey in Wojciech Szczesny who can help the 27-year-old settle in.
A move away seems like it’s come at the right time for Ramsey with the only negative implication being that we won’t receive a transfer fee for him.
Being decisive last summer, if he wasn’t in Emery’s plans, would’ve seen us sell the former Cardiff man for a big transfer fee and the ability to reinvest wisely.
