American TV host and self-proclaimed Tottenham Hotspur fan Adam Richman bumped into Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Twickenham on Saturday and couldn’t hide his admiration for the Gunners star.
The Ox went to watch the NFL clash between the LA Rams and New York Giants, accompanied by Calum Chambers and new-boy Rob Holding.
A number of our stars do follow American Football and have traditionally attended the games the NFL has brought to the UK and Adam Richman was surprised by the enthusiasm shown by our No.15.
“As a diehard Tottenham supporter, it breaks my heart that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is such a nice guy,” Adam told BBC Sport.
“He’s sitting right behind me, and it kills me to admit that he’s such a nice guy.”
While a number of our players are expected to conduct themselves with class when representing Arsenal Football Club on and off the pitch, the ‘nice guy’ tag is something most players want to lose.
Theo Walcott has mentioned that he’s wanted to add more aggression to his game and appear more intimidating while on the pitch, something The Ox may have to add to his game if he’s to make it at Arsenal.
