Sunday Supplement: Ozil’s “Magical” Display vs Swansea Makes You Not Want Him To Age

Mesut Ozil’s magical to watch…

The Sunday Supplement panel seem to have finally awoken and taken notice of our Premier League form, with Oliver Holt of the Daily Mail waxing lyrical on Mesut Ozil’s display against Swansea City.

Ozil scored a beauty in the second half which turned out to be the winner on what was his 28th birthday. The German star seems to have been waiting an eternity to gain the respect of the British press, though even they cannot deny his influence at the moment.

The assists may have dried up, but Ozil looks to be deciding games all on his own in recent weeks.

“I love watching him play, he’s just a magical player to watch,” Oliver Holt said when discussing Ozil.

“I find it quite reassuring that he’s only 28, he’s in his prime.”

After finishing their Ozil discussion, the panel debated whether Arsenal had the best squad in the Premier League before stating that a sustained title challenge must be expected of us.

With a squad Wenger recently described as “men ready to compete”, there can be no excuses for not challenging for the title right until the end.
