Walcott’s Wenger revelation…

Theo Walcott is the latest player to take part in the ‘Arsenal Albums’ series and the forward had a lot to cover given that he’s the longest-serving player at the club.

Walcott spoke on a range of topics, though it’s his relationship with the boss which stood out the most considering that he’s the longest-serving player under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

The 27-year-old admitted that he and the boss have had their “ups and downs”, but their rapport remains stronger than ever and the forward even detailed a recent speech given by Wenger.

“He did a speech the other day, I won’t be able to do it because it was that good,” Walcott narrated.

“It reminded me of that film, Any Given Sunday, it genuinely did. He really wants it (the title).”

Arsene Wenger is out of contract this summer and his latest actions resemble the man who feels like it’s now or never as the Arsenal boss.

He has always maintained that he will assess his performance at the end of the season and if – after 12 years since his last league success – he feels no closer to clinching the league, the 67-year-old may call it a day.

Check out Walcott’s touching episode in the video above.
