Thierry Henry has had enough…

Thierry Henry revealed that he wanted to leave the stadium during our 4-0 humiliation at Anfield despite being on punditry duty for Sky Sports.

It was one of Arsene Wenger’s darkest moments as Gunners boss manner the mannger of the performance and the fact that it’s come a time when there’s huge scrutiny regarding his competence as a manager.

Liverpool raced into a 2-0 goal lead before half-time and were never tested defensively throughout the 90 minutes – not facing a single shot on target.

Henry couldn’t hide his disgust at the performance, and nobody was safe in his scathing assessment of the game, not even the man responsible for his playing career.

“It was unwatchable, at one point I wanted to leave,” Henry said.

“I didn’t watch the game anymore, it was too much to take.”

“I don’t relate to the team and I don’t think a lot of the fans do,” he added. “That is a problem.”

As the players go off on an international break, the focus will now shift on the transfer window and a crucial few days for Arsene Wenger and his goal to restore faith among the fans.

Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Shkodran Mustafi are the senior members being heavily linked with moves away to Chelsea, Manchester City and Inter Milan, respectively.
