On May 7th, 2006, Arsenal left the marble halls at Highbury – a stadium which played host to a crucial game against Wigan to secure our top four hopes.
Trailing Tottenham Hotspur by a point on the final day of the Premier League season, West Ham destroyed the arch enemy at Upton Park as Thierry Henry inspired a truly sparkling performance to crown Highbury in style.
As we prepared for a Champions League final in Paris a fortnight later, a part atmosphere surrounded N5 on this historical day.
