Tottenham 1-0 Arsenal: Relive the moments from yet another away defeat to Sp*rs…
Arsenal succumbed to yet another defeat away from home to our arch enemies Spurs, meaning that we’re yet to win there in the league since Tomas Rosicky’s wonder strike in 2014.
After a cagey first-half, Spurs came out after the interval in gear five while it seemed our minds were still in the dressing room. Harry Kane grabbed the eventual winner, and he could’ve really bagged a hat-trick in a matter of minutes.
We completely hit the self-destruct button at the beginning of the second-half and should’ve really been 4-0 down – and it was mainly of our own making.
With one shot on target all game by way of Jack Wilshere’s curling effort, we really didn’t maintain a period of pressure on the Spurs goal.
Alexandre Lacazette could’ve snatched a point at the death, but he dragged wide as he continues to suffer from a lack of confidence.
We now find ourselves seven points off a top-four spot, with the Europa League looking like our best bet if we’re to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
