Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has challenged the team to finish off a trying week with a win and sign off with seven points from three Premier League games.

Speaking to the press ahead of the visit of Huddersfield on Saturday, we picked up four points from our games against Spurs and Man United with two dominant performance.

In the race for the top four, we trail our north London neighbours by two points and given their kind schedule in the coming weeks, we can’t afford to drop needless points.

Emery has acknowledged the effort the team has given this week, with the Spaniard indulging in minimal changes in terms of his starting XI.

We’ve lost Rob Holding to a serious knee injury while Aaron Ramsey also picked up an ankle injury, and we really can’t afford any further problems, especially in the medical department.

With a meaningless Europa League game against Qarabag, most of the players who’re likely to pay every minute this week will likely be given a week off before our Premier League schedule resumes at Southampton.

“This is a very big challenge this week,” Emery told the press, via Arsenal Player.

“We are going to finish Saturday against Huddersfield. At the moment we have a good feeling after a good result, but we need to close with a victory on Saturday.”

It will be interesting to see if Emery continues with the 3-4-3 system which worked well in our last two games given that Alexandre Lacazette hasn’t started in either match.

The system does allow us to dominate the midfield area while occupying the flanks through our wing-backs, and it’s worked well because it plays to our strengths.

We have a lack of traditional wingers in the squad, so essentially playing with four playmakers and one central striker seems the preferable option.
