Alexandre Lacazette has hit the ground running…

Alexandre Lacazette has promised fans that there are many more goals to come from him after netted his second goal in four games against Bournemouth.

Lacazette, who was inexplicably left out of the starting XI at Anfield, returned with a vengeance against Eddie Howe’s men and scored a wonderful effort to double our tally.

Had he not had a goal wrongly chalked off at Stoke City, that would’ve been his third strike in three starts as the Frenchman proves that his finishing ability isn’t exclusive to one league.

The former Lyon man registered 37 goals in all competitions last season, and those who doubted his ability to replicate that in England are starting to eat their words.

“Hi, everyone, thanks for making me feel at home,” Lacazette messaged to the Arsenal fans.

“Two goals, and many more to come.”

Lacazette has led the line wonderfully when he’s appeared for us, though his toughest test will come on Sunday when we travel to Chelsea.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a positive display against them in the Community Shield, almost finding the net after bending the ball past Thibaut Courtois and onto the post.

Performing against the elite teams in the league is when we’ll need Lacazette.
