Alexis Sanchez putting clubs off with his wage demands…

Alexis Sanchez is reportedly pricing himself out of a move to Paris Saint-Germain with his representatives asking for an astronomical salary, according to Ligue 1 expert Julien Laurens.

PSG boss Unai Emery publicly claimed that the French giants are looking to sign one of Kylian Mbappé, Alexis Sanchez or Neymar – a seriously bold claim.

Many believe Alexis is the most feasible deal for the former Ligue 1 champions, although Julien Laurens states that there are a number of stumbling blocks in the way.

One of the main hurdles to overcome is Alexis’ wage demands, with the Chilean seemingly requesting £400,000 per week to move to the French capital.

It probably explains why talks have stalled regarding a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, which also calls into question what Alexis’ motives are.

He’s publicly portrayed himself as an ambitious footballer who wants to join a club intent on winning, but it the notion of him and his agent asking for huge sums of money has come up on multiple occasions.

Bayern chief Uli Hoeness revealed that they ended their interest in Alexis once they baulked of the numbers involved, especially for a player who turns 29 in October.

Check out what Ligue 1 expert Julien Laurens thinks about a potential move to PSG.
