Arsenal star Bukayo Saka looks to be winning his race to be fit in time for tomorrow’s clash against Burnley after the 22-year-old was spotted with the squad at the team hotel.

Saka hobbled out of our 2-0 win against Sevilla on Wednesday after producing a match-winning display – scoring one and assisting another.

Mikel Arteta revealed in his pre-match press conference that the England international was a doubt for the game having not been able to train on Thursday.

The likes of Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard were also considered doubts by the manager adding to his selection headache.

However, as ever with the modern world, fans were present at the team hotel and spotted that Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah were with the squad.

The likes of Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey are still missing and didn’t arrive with the squad in north London.

Saka being with the matchday squad doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll feature in the game after the stunt we saw Arteta pull ahead of the game against Manchester City.

The forward arrived at the Emirates Stadium with the squad, in his usual pre-match tracksuit, only for the teamsheet to be revealed minutes later without Saka on it.

We’ll have to wait until 1 pm on Saturday to definitively know if Saka has made the squad, but the signs are good.
