Arsenal duo address fans on social media…

Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard addressed fans on social media after the Gunners ended 2023 in dismal fashion against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

While Saka gave us the lead inside five minutes, that was as good as it got – for him and the team. We didn’t register another shot on target until added time.

With the mood among the fanbase low after back-to-back defeats in the league as we surrendered our lead at the top of the division, Saka and Odegaard felt the need to send messages through their social accounts.

It’s often customary for players to go dark on social media following a defeat or a poor performance, but it seems the players haven’t lost all belief.

Preparations now turn to an FA Cup tie with Liverpool this weekend in a game that’s now grown in its importance following recent results.

The players owe fans a performance against the league leaders and Mikel Arteta will be demanding a response – there’s no time to feel sorry for ourselves.

At the time of writing, we’re just three points off top-spot at the halfway stage of the season and with a winter break looming, it’s a chance to reset and go again – hopefully, on course to fight on three fronts.

Check out Saka and Odegaard’s messages below.
