Saka has been under the microscope from the medical staff after limping off in the first half of Tuesday’s Champions League defeat at Lens.
Arteta confirmed after the game that Saka was struggling with a muscular problem and it seemed at that point that Sunday’s game would certainly come too soon for him.
However, it has since been revealed that the 22-year-old didn’t suffer any damage and the report above claims that he took part in Saturday’s final session.
In addition to the England international, Martinelli is set to be declared fit after a month out with a hamstring strain suffered at Goodison Park.

Martinelli will likely start on the bench, if he does make the squad, given how little football he’s played since limping off the pitch last month.
It will be interesting to see how fit Arteta deems the aforementioned duo to be. Their availability, alongside the return of Thomas Partey, certainly throws up some interesting selection dilemmas.
