Arsenal Socials: Gunners Stars React To Thrashing Of Sheffield United

Arsenal stars take to social media after a routine win…

Arsenal’s stars took to social media to react to Saturday’s 5-0 win against Sheffield United as we continue our unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Eddie Nketiah was the star of the show, netting the first hat-trick of his career to silence doubters as he looks at another spell as Mikel Arteta’s leading marksman following Gabriel Jesus’ injury.

Uniquely, Nketiah’s goals were the first three of the afternoon, single-handedly giving us a comfortable lead and allowed the manager to make changes to rest some of our key players.

Takehiro Tomiyasu bagged his first goal for the club from a corner-kick after being introduced for Ben White, with the Japanese international dedicating the goal to his late mother.

There was another emotional celebration when Fabio Vieira was felled for a penalty, leading to Nketiah handing the ball over for the Portuguese playmaker to get off the mark for the season. Vieira celebrated by paying homage to his unborn child with his partner expecting in the near future.

We now turn our attentions to another cup competitions as we visit the Olympic Stadium to take on West Ham United in the Carabao Cup.

It will be interesting to see how Arteta once again rotates his squad with the likes of Martin Odegaard and Jorginho unused substitutes at the weekend.

Check out the posts below as our stars reacted to a routine win.
