Arsenal’s first-team stars took to social media to post some very poignant posts after our 4-2 thrashing of Spurs at the Emirates Stadium to move us ahead of our arch rivals.

All week, we’ve heard so-called experts list us as the undergods for the clash despite being at home and off the back of last month’s impressive display against Liverpool.

Combined XI’s with all Spurs’ players, claims that Spurs vs Chelsea was the premiere London derby and that a win here would mean Mauricio Pochettino’s men were credible title challenger – we heard the lot.

It certainly spurred our players on and we came out of the blocks with such ferocity and should’ve put the game to bed inside the first 20 minutes.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang slotted a penalty home, be he should’ve added another from Sead Kolasinac’s cross had he not lost his footing.

And, from yet another Kolasinac ball, Alex Iwobi should’ve steered the ball either side of Hugo Lloris to send us further clear.

That second goal didn’t come and it resulted in two goals in a matter of minutes from the visitors which meant that we entered another break without leading.

However, just like we’ve seen on many occasions this season, we took on another level after the interval and scored three sensational goals.

The stadium was rocking and, judging by the team’s individual social media feeds, so was the dressing room.
