Youri Tielemans has rejected Leicester City’s latest contract offer, with his current deal set to expire next year, The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano reports.
I’ve been told Youri Tielemans will NOT extend his contract with Leicester. New deal bid has been turned down – current one expires in 2023. 🔵 #LCFC
Of course Youri will be professional, he’s focused on Leicester. Many top clubs want him for June.

The Belgian international was heavily linked with us in January, with reports suggesting that talks took place with his representatives at London Colney ahead of a summer move (via Goal).
Signing at least one midfielder will be high on the agenda in the summer given that Mohamed Elneny will be leaving on a free transfer.
Also, the future of Granit Xhaka is far from certain with persistent noise from Italy claiming that Roma will reignite their long-term interest in the Swiss captain.
Leicester City are traditionally in a strong position when clubs come in for their best players, but Tielemans contractual situation means we could acquire him for a respectable fee.
At 24, the former Anderlecht star certainly fits the profile of what Mikel Arteta is looking for and has the Premier League experience to hit the ground running.
Despite his consistency in previous seasons, Tielemans has been slightly off the pace in recent weeks, though that may speak to the uncertainty surrounding his future.
With Xhaka operating in an advanced role since returning from injury as Arteta gradually moves to his favoured 4-3-3, that position would suit Tielemans perfectly.
