Cohen Bramall speaks on huge learning curve…

Arsenal youngster Cohen Bramall admitted to an error which led to Chelsea’s second goal in our heavy defeat to the Premier League champions in Beijing.

The game wasn’t played in the most ideal of conditions on our behalf, with the team looking jet-lagged from the excessive travelling while the squad was also struggling with a bug in the camp.

On the other hand, Chelsea basically fielded the XI which won them the Premier League at a canter last season, minus the injured Eden Hazard and the outgoing Diego Costa.

Our youngsters were given a rough ride and Bramall was thrown right into the deep end against the likes of Willian, and he really struggled.

However, the former Sunday league footballer is adamant that the game would serve as a learning curve for the future ahead of a crucial campaign.

“The second goal was my fault, I’ll take that on the chin – my foot just got stuck on the turf,” Bramall told Arsenal Player.

“The tour has been amazing,  probably the best thing I have ever done and hopefully I am on not next year too.

“It’s hit me now [how far I have come]. I knew it would hit me after I made my first appearance and it has. It hasn’t even been a year, it’s more like seven months… it’s [amazing].”

Bramall will undoubtedly have another chance to prove that he’s not in way over his head once the Emirates Cup kicks off.
